Writing Workshop Celebration

We enjoyed finishing our 1st writing unit with friends from Mrs. Follett's class. We were able to read our stories to them and hear what they have been creating in their classroom!

Shape Walk

We used some fun technology this week to go on a shape walk throughout the school! Below are some of the collages we made with the app Pic Collage on the ipads!

Shape Fun

We have been learning all the "kindergarten" words for shapes this month. In Math class we got to work with partners to spin for the shapes we needed to fill our scarecrows!

After filling the picture with all the needed shapes, we had to count how many of each kind we had and record the number! This month we are also working hard on writing our numbers the correct way!
