100th DAY!

We had lots of fun today dressing up like 100 year olds!
We spent the day sharing 100 items, writing about 100 items, counting to the number 100 in different ways, making the number 100 into something new and doing tasks 100 times - like flipping a penny!

Learning About Safety

Mrs. Hyke came to visit today and taught us that sometimes it's okay to be rude. She talked about stranger danger and taught the kids a strategy to use if a stranger takes their hand or asks them to go along with them. We practiced the strategy in class - it's called Your Not My Mother.

Graduating with Reading Powers!

We celebrated earning ALL of our super powers with a little graduation! All kindergarten students got to participate in a graduation walk to the music room where we read a graduation poem using our powers, sang When I Grow Up and enjoyed a little movie! CONGRATULATIONS to all the Super Readers!
